Contractions, Allergies and UTI's..Oh My!

Sunday I woke up with terrible allergies. The mold count has been really high here this week and it's killing me. I went to church and while there starting contracting every 4 mins with each one lasting about 60 seconds. Came home and drank water, took tylenol and rested on the couch and after an hour they were still the same. Called L&D and went down to be checked. No dialation, but had a UTI which caused them. Got a script for meds for the UTI and a shot of Terbutaline to stop the contractions. Spent the last few days resting and trying to get rid of these allergies..with little success. Anyway, that's what I've been up to for the last few days..

New purchases..

I am so excited! I just made a couple purchases, well..completed them..and I can't wait to get them. The wool longies were knit by Laura (Dolphin_Medic) on Diaperswappers as a custom for me, and the fleece skirt I bought from another mama on there. I am thinking Charlotte will be coming home in the longies. Just have to go buy a shirt to match them both..or 2..lol

Cleaning, cleaning..and more cleaning..

Apparently, nesting kicked in early this time. Yesterday I cleaned house and did a ton of laundry. Today I woke up and thought..I really need to steam clean the carpets. A little background, we have 2 large dogs. A Great Pyrenees and a Great Dane. They make big messes with big foot prints and lots of drool. So, I steam cleaned the carpets today and steam cleaned the kitchen floor. Makes it all nice a sparkly. I'm so excited to have clean carpets..haha. I, sadly, went too long in between cleanings and it took me almost 4 hours just to do the livingroom and hall. Tomorrow, I may get to working on Charlotte's room. I need to get all of hubby's computer parts out of there, ugh.

Kissaluvs

So, I have been thinking about trying some Kissaluvs for this new baby. I think they are cute, affordable and I've heard some good things. Anyone had a good experience with them and want to share? Right now my stash is mostly prefolds, covers and a couple all in ones..but I really want to try some fitteds for night time and for outings. Thanks in advance, for any advice!

It's a Girl!!!

We just got home from our ultrasound and getting lunch. The tech said we are having another little princess. Her name will be Charlotte Inez. We are so excited..well, all of us except Abbey. She really wanted a brother, but I think she will come around soon. Yay!

My two gorgeous girls..

First is Abbey, she is 6..going on 30. Her birthday is in October. She starts first grade in August. My little girl is growing up. She is spunky, bossy and all around a lot of fun. She can't wait for the baby to make his/her appearance so she can be all motherly and help take care of him/her.

Next is Chloe, she is 4..and a one gal comedy act. Her birthday is in December and she has one more year home with mommy before she starts Kindergarten. She is very smart and we are working on getting her all ready for school. She just got all her hair cut off into this cute Tinkerbell haircut and she LOVES it.

Ultrasound Scan

We have our 20 week Ultrasound tomorrow. We will find out the sex of the baby. We are happy with whatever God gives us. We have a girl's name picked already, but we cannot decide on a boy's name. For a girl, we have Charlotte Inez. For a boy, we are tossing around various names..Kalel, Atticus, Miles and Oliver.
